Assassin Bug

This is the second Assassin Bug that I got to see when I started my journey with insects. It too was close to the first Assassin Bug that I had seen. Here is first photo I took of it as I noticed it peering at meet from a branch:

It eventually lost interest in me and then decided to move ahead, may be looking for its breakfast šŸ™‚ .

I think it is one in the genus Isyndus. If you know it to be something else, then do let me know šŸ™‚ .

Here is another of the same “type” I saw at another lake. I think it is a nymph though:

Do you know that Assassin Bugs have a “crazy” way of “eating” their food. Read about it in my post here. You can also see a video of it in action.
